Q. How old do I have to be?

You have to be at least 18 years old.

Q. How many hours do I have to work a day?
A.
There is no set schedule, some days you can work eight and others 12. It all depends on how busy the hotel is.

Q. How much do I get paid?
A. It depends on experience and the hotel, but it can be anywhere from $550 US a month and up, plus room and board, keep in mind that some resorts offer more to start.

Q. How do I get paid and how often?
A. Most hotels pay in their respective countries currency, biweekly.

Q. What should I include in on my cover letter and resume?
A. Sports background, working with kids or any stage experience, languages are an asset. include what position you are applying for and when you are available for departure. It is very important to include where you heard of our company.

Q. Do I get a day off?
A. You get one day off a week, some hotels allow you to accumulate.

Q. Does all inclusive mean that I get all inclusive as well?
A. Yes, everything is taken care of, but we encourage you to represent your hotel professionally.

Q. What if I want to do this for more than 6 months?
A. After your six months is finished and you wish to stay on longer, you can be reevaluated and either stay at the same hotel or move to a different location.

Q. What if I don’t know the language?
A. Additional languages are not required but will be looked at as an asset.

Q. Can I go with a friend?
A. Yes you can, but there is no guarantee that you will end up in the same resort, city, or country.

Q. Can I go with my boyfriend or girlfriend?
A. Most hotels do not like to take on couples; however, it is not completely out of the question.

Q. Where are the resorts located and do I pick where I’d like to go?
A. We work with hotels all over the world, and no you do not get to pick, but you retain the right to refuse.

Q. Can I get a deal for my family and friends to come and visit?
A. Most of our clients offer discounts for family and friends, if proper procedures are taken.

Q. Do I live in the resort?
A. In most resorts you stay directly on resort grounds in a separate area for sports staff or in some cases you will stay in an apartment beside the resort.

Q. Is the flight included in the deal?
A. Most hotels will cover the flight cost one way, and this is usually once you complete your contract term.

Q. What happens if I can’t stay the whole 6 months?
A. You pay your own way home, and will never be represented again.

Q. Am I covered for medical?
A. Yes, the hotel takes care of that for you while you are there.

Q. Can I work from resort to resort while I am down there?
A. Absolutely NOT!!!

Q. What do I need to bring?
A.
You will need a passport, and we will go over everything else with you.

Q. Do I have to have a sports or entertainment background?
A. No, but it is a definite asset.

Q. Do I have to be a model or actor?
A. No, absolutely not.

Q. What if I get fired?
A. Termination only occurs when a resort employee misrepresents the hotel image. If this happens, in most cases you will be paying your own way home. This is a rare situation, and responsible employees have no concerns.

Q. What if I want to quit?
A. All hotels prefer that you advise them in advance with reasonable time to replace you, and you must provide your own flight home. Depending on the circumstances, GGG is entitled to terminate your representation indefinitely.

Q. How many activity coordinators are there in one resort?
A. There can be up to 50 members on a team, depending on the resort. Most Sports & Entertainment teams consist of roughly 20-30 members.

Q. So this experience is free?
A. As of right now there is no administrative fee.

Q. What do you guys want in return?
A.
We ask that you not only represent our company professionally, but also present yourself in the same fashion.

Q. How can I sign up or what are my next steps?
A. We first ask for a cover letter and resume plus a minimum of three pictures to be sent via email or postal, and then one of our agents will contact you.

Q. How soon before I leave if I am chosen?
A. You can leave as early as one week after the interview.

Q. Is this too good to be true?
A. No! This is proof that you really can have a job you love.

Q. Are taxes taken off my check?
A.
Yes, minimal taxes (less than Canada) to be explained when contracted.

Q. Do I have to worry about any paperwork?
A. No, the hotel takes care of that for you while you are there.

Q. Do I need a working visa and how long does it last?
A. Yes, the hotel takes care of that, and it is usually valid for one year.

Q. Why do I need to send pictures?
A. Due to the nature of the business, as any other entertainment agency we require photos to aid us in promoting you.
